The germ of the project revolves around the idea of an innovative shield, an armor capable to protect, but also make the difference and be unique.

The sharp, high-tech, precise and uncompromising language of EPTA Design has embraced Gray's philosophy and mindset. The exploration was very extensive, here there is only one thousandth of the work done.

After months of formal research, the faceted, mathematical and pure sculpture emerged from the dark. A hard, sharp and cold armor designed to protect something fragile and soft was born.

The impenetrable armor was designed with a new concept of protection and "dressing". ALTER EGO was designed to be assembled with a small ritual. First the perfect silicone gasket, then the two titanium shells and finally, through a screw, the tightening to finally close the armor.

Epta design has invested alsoa a lot of time to design an appropriate packaging for Alter Ego. The outer box comes from a milled a solid aluminum block. The front and back plates are held together by 4 powerful magnets. The scratch on the armor has also been replicated on the outside to create something precious to keep over the time.
